    I'll keep it short...

A bit of background I'm a male mid twenties. Basically I meet a girl of similar age a couple of times a week working in a garage I regularly stop in due to work. Probably for a year and a half by now. I get the feeling that she is into me and I would really love to ask her out. Common sense tells me it would never be practical to do this during brief encounters while she is working it would just be all kinds of wrong in my opinion to put someone on the spot like that when they are working etc. I don't even know for sure even if she is single or not and it could end up embarrassing for everyone.
I also know that it is literally her job to be nice and that your mind can play tricks on you when your looking for signs that someone may be interested.
However I would be fairly sure that she is interested for a number of reasons and I'm confident in my own ability to judge this.
Problem is how can I progress this? Like I said above I do not think it's appropriate when I meet her while she is working. Only option I could come up with is through social media. Is it just too weird to message someone out of the blue?? My head tells me obviously yes it is but what would others especially ladies think of such an approach?? Surely it's too weird?
Just to add there is little chance of ever meeting her socially as it is another county.

Any opinions on a suitable approach welcome!

no particular advice but deffo not social media, reeks of stalking imo or being chicken to approach her directly. nothing ventured nothing gained if she shoots you down you don't have to go back. you could make a jokey comment that she must get asked out a lot working here and take it from there?

You need to ask her out to her face, nothing too fancy
Ask if she isn't working on Saturday (or whatever day you think of) does she want to go for a drink or coffee /go cinema? Maybe wait till your in a conversation that's going really well and just drop it in at the end.

If you approach her on social media I think you may scare her if she's not interested, easier for her to know that she shouldn't be scared of you if you ask her to her face.

Social media should only be used when you've met someone and you're not sure if you'll see them again face to face and you have no other options.
You see this girl weekly so there's no excuse for not asking her in person.

The thought of asking someone out makes me feel physically sick with nerves so I don't envy you! :P

However, I must say that as a woman there is nothing more flattering than being asked out.
She will be absolutely delighted and the worst she can say is No.
She may have a boyfriend already so be prepared that she may have to turn you down.

But it's very unlikely you'll get a bad response even if it is a no so if you can find the confidence, go for it!
There's a 'legendary' thread on here somewhere, a guy fancied a girl in a garage and asked her out. It went very well for him!
I'll try and find the link, it's a good read and might give you some confidence :D

Ask her face to face. If you track her down on FB, well, you'd have tracked her down, and that can be a bit worrying.

Just ask if she's not seeing anyone would she like to go for a coffee. If she says yes; happy days. If she says no; shrug it off with a 'just thought I'd ask' or a 'nothing ventured, nothing gained'. Never ask why, or try to talk her into it (not saying you would, but some do).

I wouldn't be mad about the zoo idea at all. What if ye didn't click and then ye are stuck together for the day?

No, keep it simple. Hey, fancy going for a drink sometime? Give her your number on a piece of paper if she says yes. Bingo.

I don't think the zoo is a bad first date idea but I wouldn't suggest it outright - just 'would you like to go out sometime' is enough, you can decide where later.

Just make sure that if she says no for whatever reason, you say something back like 'ah well, no harm in trying!' and leave with a big smile instead of just going red, mumbling something and walking out in a rush.

If you take a no in a cheery way then it won't be awkward next time you go in!

Not that she's going to say No :)

    Replace zoo with whatever :)

The zoo is grand if you aren't feeling it you can always push her into the seal pool and run
