Dublin leagues - Players wanted

    Glasnevin Basketball Club is the fastest growing men's basketball club in the city. There are currently 5 league divisions in the Dublin region, organised by the Dublin Mens Basketball Board (DMBB).

    We are an ambitious club, with plans for continued growth over the next few years. 2 of our teams won their regular season leagues last season, with all 3 teams qualifying for the end of season "Final Four" tournament. We have a professional coaching team in place, led by Irish International coaches Peder Madsen and Kevin Foley.

    This season we are expanding our club from 3 to 4 teams, competing in Divisions 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the leagues. We have a small number of membership spots still free, in particular in our Division 3 and Division 4 squads.

    We are currently running scrimmage games on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 8pm in Mount Temple Comprehensive School, Malahide Road, Dublin 3 for anyone interested in joining the club.

    While as a club we welcome new members of all levels, we are currently looking for players to add to our league winning squads from last season and therefore a certain level of experience will be required.
