Should people be allowed to die with dignity and choose to end their own life if they have serious incurable debilitating illness or disability, like locked in syndrome as long as they are in a sound state of mind to do so. If i myself ever ended up in that situation and had no quality of life whatsoever and suffered chronic pain but my mind was still sharp, i would at least like to have the choice to be allowed to end things on my own terms, rather than keep having to live through torture everyday. Should we all be allowed to choose to end our own lives on our own terms or not, in other words should assisted suicide like they have in Switzerland be allowed here, i think it should, but what do you all think, i would like your opinions on the matter please.

Yes, you should be the master of your own destiny. It should not be the function of the state to block you under specific and well defined circumstances from receiving an assisted death.

They're not the ones who have to go through it everyday, maybe if they did they might understand better, people should be allowed to end their suffering on their own terms, it shouldnt be the business of the state to dictate to anyone, people should be entitled to make their own decisions in life.
