    Anyone know how much I will be charged if I order a laptop worth 1700 euro from the US?

    Assuming the shipping is free:
    1446.75 EUR so VAT due would be €332.75 + Handling fee.

    If shipping isn't free you need to add VAT for that too.

    No, provided you buy from the UK before Brexit happens. There will be no customs or VAT charges on a computer bought from the UK.
