I know nothing about cars, what is the air flow meter.
The engine died today while driving. Also has no power.

Was on a long journey today when it happened. Managed to find a garage who had a quick look said they think it may be a sensor or the timing gear. Was told they didn't have the parts and it would be okay to keep driving the 100km more.

I did.Crankshaft sensor went.Replaced for about 100quid or so.
