Rigid board v spray foam insulation Attic Conversion

    Looking for some advice

I'm in the process of converting my attic. Doing the slabbing and stuff walls etc myself along with lighting and plugs. Don't have any issue with any of that but I would like to get advice on the use of rigid board or spray insulation.

The area is 55 m2 to be sprayed and I figure I could get 100mm rigid insulation done between the rafters for roughly 500 but the spray insulation is coming in at €1250.

When the new frame work is is I'll be putting 50-100mm insulated plaster board up.

I'm thinking that the rigid maybe enough considering the plaster boards also. I'm a little concerned with thermal bridging and stuff.

The attic will always only be regarded as a storage room as the height is not there for it. We will be using it as a bedroom though.

I would love any thoughts or advice!

    Cheers
