Liver fluke - how long before improvement

Sorry this is actually a goat question but I figured they are similar...

I suspect one of my goats has liver fluke. He has lost a lot of weight, he has lost his apetite and lost some of his spark (basically he's less of a pr**k to the other goat) and his coat is very coarse and falling out in places.
He's wormed with panacur and i've just recently dosed him with tribex for the first time.

I've spoken to the vet and he said once he's wormed and dosed for fluke, then I just wait and see does he improve/die. I feel like I could do more though. How long after dosing would you notice an improvement (if its going to work)
And what else can I do to give him a boost?

I cant get him to eat any mix/grain. He has a goat mineral lick that he does use sometimes and he will nibble on vegetation etc but not enough to gain any weight. Suggestions welcome
