Revenue.ie personal details error

    I just moved into a new house, and the agency asked for my PPS number while filling the forms. I tried to log in to revenue.ie to update my address but system just logs me out saying "your personal details need update, please get in touch with local revenue office and quote rule 1".

    I will try to call revenue tomorrow, but I was wondering if this error is related with agency telling my address to revenue (is that a thing?) or is it related with something else?.

    Should I provide any document, does anyone have any idea? Just asking to speed up the process.

    edit: I don't know the cause but I could update my address now without issue and it didn't gave any error, it's weird.

    Give them a ring. It may be that post has been delivered to an old address, and returned by An Post marked gone away. If that happens, a "Stop" gets put on your file, and won't come off until updated info comes in
