Hi guys, Just looking for advice. I've zero plumbing knowledge by the way!

I have a mixer tap in the kitchen and the hot water has stopped working. When I turn it fully on only a trickle of water comes out. the cold water comes out as normal and all the other taps in the house work as normal.

I've no idea whether I just need to buy a new tap or call out a plumber for something worse so any advice appreciated.

    Thanks

If you have hot water everywhere else then most likely it is the spindle valve in the tap that needs replacing.
If you have zero skills for plumbing it may be better to get a plumber out to do it for you. Its an easy fix.

After little bit of googling and looking around at the pipes I decided to go with your advice!

    Thanks for your help!
