    Hi,

I'm on 90mg duloxetiene once daily and 100mg lamotrigene twice daily. This is my third prescription for depression since the start of the year.

Question is that i want to stop taking them as I dont think any med is going to work for me and I'm not willing to put up with the side effects anymore.

The prescription i have now (as above) seems to make me feel worse than the last one, I'm depressed approx 50% of the time. Before any meds i would be depressed 80% of the time.

I've tried psychotherapy and it didnt work for me, im not one to talk anyway.

anyone any ideas, dont know what to do.

    thanks.

    Hi JoeBlogs,

We cannot give any medical advice here. Coming off anti-depressants needs to be a gradual withdrawal so it's something you need to plan carefully with your GP.

Please see your GP - the advice he/she will give you will be far safer than any advice you can get on the internet.

    All the best.
