Anyone ever hear of or use this website www.tile.expert?
Had a look for some tiles im about to buy and one range in particular is €15 a sqm cheaper on the site. Couple of others are the same on the site as in the shops but could save in the region of €2500 by purchasing there.

Site looks great! The problem is going to be the lead times and the customer service.

Have you been offered any discount with the supplier in Ireland?

Hard to see a bricks and mortar shop doing anything other than flat out reject competing with the price difference. I would rather buy locally but there is a such a difference in the two prices. Afraid mentioning the site to a local supplier will end up ruling that supplier out and leaving me with no option but to go online.

Why mention the site? Just say that you your lover/brother/sister or whatever works for/is/is in love with an interior designer and says they are nice tiles but a bit expensive and wants you to look at other options, so you want to know is there anything they can do on the price. You are buying a fair amount of tiles.

Discounts are a sad fact of life in the tile industry.

Tiles are all about shipping so make sure you figure delivery into your estimates for both options.

can you buy 1 metre to see the quality or will they send you a sample - there are different grades in tiles and sometime even in shops in ieland you can get stung with seconds or end of line tiles . just remember to order extra cos if you run out chances of getting them again in the same shade might be slim .

Hi, I'm thinking of importing tiles for my house. Did you use this company in the end?

Did anyone buy from this crowd at all? Online reviews seem good. Maybe too good
