    This is incredible (and scary).
The idea that AI could develop a language not understood by humans and for it to work.

Signs of things to come with AI.
Seems to have been suppressed by Facebook as well.

All I want is a domestic robot that'll cook gourmet meals and keep the place as tidy and clean as a 5* hotel and only requires charging in return. I don't care what language it speaks or what it says behind my back.

It's times like this I'm reminded of when Microsoft (iirc) developed an AI and let it loose on twitter

They had to stop it after relatively short while as it became racist, homophobic etc

    (Very interesting story though this)

I said this on another thread and I'll say it here too it didn't "invent it's own language", it bastardized English to make it quicker to communicate to other bots, this is the article that first started the whole "made up it's own language" thing

    http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2274480-facebook-shut-down-ai-after-it-invented-its-own-language/

    The bots say

    “I can i i everything else,”

“Balls have zero to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to me to,”

which sound like English to me even if it is a simplified version. If they really did create their own language it would have been something like "hjdhjkh hjdu80eu0NJZBH JHJIAPHUEOA[NBBW2771i1j 201j10101u2h i108u190819" so what they created is slang, if the program hadn't have been shut down then chances are the worst that would have happened was in a few week they would be working behind the bar in The Queen Vic and pulling pints for Phil, Grant, Phil, Grant sooorteddddd.

***Sits back and waits for someone to say Skynet***

Still more comprehensible than people from Dundak.
