This is flaming hot on HUKD and currently the number one rated deal. Thought it was worth posting as maybe someone might deemed it worthy of a trip down the North.

I am not in the market for a new phone so I haven't tried if you can buy it using a PayPal and Parcel Motel account.

I think carphone warehouse won't let you buy online unless you have a card registered to a UK address (unless they've changed things).

Although that's a good deal based on it's RRP, I still think buying the HTC 10 directly through HTC Club for €424 is a better deal. Same manufacturer, camera pretty much on par. The 10 has much better sound, expandable storage, and FPS in a much more logical place, though.

Did the 10 ever get a software update?

Yep running Nougat but behind on security patches if that's something that matters to you.

The security thing is a non-issue. I'd guess that 99% of Android devices aren't on the latest security patches. The 10 is a strange one, though. The US version of the 10 is about to get the July patches.

In any case, the 10 will receive Android O and another year of software support.

    Sorry for OT.

Much prefer the FPS at the back of the phone actually so not really more logical.

I wouldn't touch a fone with mediocre battery life

At that price I'd want a snapdragon 835 and 4000mAh
    Battery

An Android bargain alert thread, how come no one's posted a cheaper crappy android alternative yet like they did in the iPhone SE bargain thread? :pac:

Because most people already know that any cheap piece of crap Android phone is better than an Apple phone? Shots Fired

Prob no need for 4000 with the 835 in fairness as they're more efficient than the 820

But the Pixel is better in every way with the exception of battery life.

Looks like Google have discounted the pixel in advance of the pixel 2...
