Not the advice your looking for but tourism is the most underpaid industry out there! For your own benefit you should avoid!
I'm sorry it's not what you want to hear but it's a seriously tough industry with few advantages or rewards

This is blatantly untrue. With any job it depends on the individual, never before has there being so many opportunities to advance in life within the umbrella of tourism. There is so many different job prospects you can take while working your way up.

Have you looked at the recruitment processes for the various airlines to make sure you have the skills and the qualities they want?

Languages? First aid? I think there's an airline board here, maybe ask there.

Joining the St John Ambulance might be a smart move, your CV would bound to stick out in the future for a cabin crew job

I have lots of friends who studied and worked in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry(Including Myself). Lots of us went in with no experience. College didn't mind once we were seen to make an effort. If they could see you were making an effort in theory/practical class they were supportive and they helped you get a good placement.

ther is plenty of scope for advancement in the tourism industry/cabin crew also. it's up to each individual how well they want to get on.
have a look in your local area for job offers in cooffee/cafe windows. go into these places and have a cv and chat with managers.
    best of luck

    Try using this website

    www.likealocal.com

It connects you with travellers all over the world so you can give them advice, guidance or cheap tours of your local area. You can decide whether or not to charge or just get some experience talking to locals. Also, perhaps volunteer at some museums or galleries, or even some bus/walking tours?

Lastly, maybe try an ireland travel blog? Visit different cities and tourist spots and write directions, reviews, tips on how to get places and what to bring. Maybe include photos or videos and promote Dublin in the best light. Or start a youtube channel on the top 10 cafes / top 10 pubs or something

Apologies. Try just typing it into Google and you should find it somewhere. I use it every time I go away, really helpful
