I'd like to try growing Oca or Mashua, some kind of new root plant. Does anyone know where I can find a few tubers to get started? Or any other suggestions?

I got Jerusalem artichoke tubers from seed savers but that was all they had at the time. Thanks.

You can get them here : http://www.realseeds.co.uk/unusualtubers.html#oca when in season.
I've also bought different varieties on ebay, they multiply very rapidly.
I ended up giving them away in end end after a couple of years as my wife didn't like them. I thought they were lovely though, she does the cooking mostly so that was that! Be warned they are a pain in the arse to wash before cooking.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/
