Yeah I'd say it's completely safe. It used have a bit more of an edge to it 30 years ago but it's fairly mellow at this stage.

I'm living just off the new development having moved here 13 years ago. It's very quiet. Of course there are some bad eggs, as there is everywhere, but there can be no real complaints where you're going.

lot of problems with drugs around the area but plans are in place to clean it up which have started already, overall grand place to live though the new development is safe
