Chopping nuts

My mum loves chopped nuts in her porridge but the arthritis in her hands makes it difficult for her to use a knife to chop them now. Can you foodies suggest an easy to use device or implement I could get for her? Many thanks.

I have one of those. It works fine but for nuts you have to be careful to just pulse it briefly or else you'll end up with ground nuts instead of chopped!

The plastic bag and rolling pin idea sounds good to me, and cheaper too.
