No recent thread on this that I can find (but we know the search interface is quite poor) - what'd be the decent craft bars in Belfast? I know some have changed or closed over the last while

Brewbot is one but it's a little outside the city centre :20 minute walk). There are others but the names slip me now.

Woodworkers is unmissable. The Sunflower is nice. The Crown is worth seeing. And The Errigle is great if you're heading up to BrewBot as it's across the street.

The Dirty Onion, The Spaniard and The Hudson are nice bars too. All relatively close to each other. Not as good as Brewbot or Woodworkers for craft though.

    The Crown has craft.
McHugh's does a nice pint of Belfast Black. http://www.mchughsbar.com/index.html

Voodoo on Fountain Street had a few interesting ones when I was in there in March.

Was in the Woodworkers and the Sunflower in May.

Woodworkers quite a slick bar with a large craft offering on draft. Very hipster inside though.

The Sunflower (recently got rid of all it's macros) had an excellent selection too. Mixture of Kinnegar beers, Boundary (cracking beers), Farmageddon and other Irish beers. It's a lovely traditional bar inside and then they have a large beer garden where they do deadly pizza outside.

Try get to both but the Sunflower would get my vote!

I was disgustingly lazy and stayed drinking in the hotel (which had an acceptable selection for a hotel bar - Fran Well, Dublin Blonde and some other stuff as well as macros*) and the nightclub - that had Fran Well Chieftain.

Load of places had Heverlee in as fraft. Remember it being beyond muck though.

I've still got a substantial amount of BOI notes due to hitting the wrong button on the ATM so I may make a trip back!

*I'm aware Fran Well is now owned by a macro
