    Starting a fas course soon or whatever there called these days, Have a couple of questions

    I had a conference meeting on Tuesday whereby the lecturer told us what the course entailed etc , I'm on JSA atm how do I switch over too the fas payment?

    When I finish the course Is it a easy too switch back to JSA?

    Will we have bank holidays Mondays off during the course?

    Hi fascourseman, yes all fas centres are closed for bank holidays. When you're starting a course you get a F103 form filled out by the DSP which shows what payment you will get, fas just take over your payment while you are on your course.
    Fas pay a week in arrears though so when you start on a Monday you don't get paid until the following Thursday. When you finish you will get a SC4 form which you bring to the DSP to open up your claim again, you should receive this form with your last payment, when you finish your course on a Friday you are due your final payment the following Thursday
