Some great value to be had on crackin' gins such as Monkey, Bombay Sapphire, Von Hallers and all the big brands

    See: https://www.obrienswine.ie/spirits/spirits/gin-sale-718.html

Now if I can just find a tonic sale that's the month sorted! :)

I got myself a party pack of gins in this sale.... couldn't make my mind up so bought a few I've been meaning to try :D

I'll be sorted for G&Ts for the next year or so!

Dingle, Blackwater, Gunpowder, and I have a bottle of Nordes already on the go.

Currently enjoying a Dingle gin with Fever Tree light and lime - yummm!

(If anyone has any suggestions on interesting accompaniments for the above gins, please feel free to suggest them!!)

Gunpowder is great with Fever Tree, loads of ice and a big slice of pink grapefruit.

Tesco following suit too this weekend. Roughly tenner of each of gunpowder, monkey etc. Each costing €50 now About €7 off Hendricks to €40.
Plan on using my tenner off fifty Dunne's voucher on a 50 quid bottle to make a 60 quid monkey 47 down to 40 quid. However if no vouchers o briens seem slightly cheaper at €47

Don't drink gin myself anymore, but the wife swears Doyles small batch Irish gin from Aldi is as good a gin as you can buy.

Wouldn't buy drink in an off license here again, way way cheaper up north. That bottle of Bombay Sapphire is 5er cheaper to Republic sale prices.

A craft beer I drink Brew dog is £3 for 660ml and is €3.10 for 330ml. Go up and buy in bulk.

Got this up in Tesco Newry the other day.

Edit just to add Tanquery no 10 is €45 here and £25 for same size bottle up north.

Not no. 10, but bought a litre of this in Madrid airport last week for €12.55

But for cabin bag restrictions, I might well have gone crazy at that price.

Dunnes have fever tree on offer!
Just called in to a Dunnes on the back of this post - 2x4-pack of 200ml bottles for €7.50, but even better was a pack of 8x150ml tins of tonic (all 3 types) for €7.

I didn't even know FT did cans, and that's the perfect size for a home-made G&T, I find there's just a little bit too much in the bottles but I can't bring myself to throw it out either.

    Thanks for the tip-off! :)

London no 1 was e37 in Madrid airport, as opposed to e60 in the Loop, Dublin Airport.
