I am only a hobby builder and want to convert a farmshed into a habitable office space. It is 40' long, 8' walls , 16' wide. It has a barn roof. The walls are 12" mass concrete. I was going to do the following:
Waterproof membrane on all walls and floor
3x2 timbers for structure of inner walls and floor
Either insulated plasterboard or normal plasterboard with isover insulation (depending on cost difference) for the walls and ceiling
Some form of floor insulation covered with plywood sheets (would aeroboard be used here)
What do you think? Any advise on plasterboard/insulation to use would be appreciated (as would any other comments). I need to do as cheaply as possible, and yes I realise planning should be applied for before converting a buildings use

A habitable room or an office? Very different things with significant planning implications.

It may or may not require planning depending on current and intended use. If you need planning, you should get planning.
Regardless all work will need comply with building regs

Think I may have put this in the wrong section. Its only the construction I am interested in.....not interested in planning info.

I'll browse around and see if there is a better section for it

This is the right section tbh. Whether you are interested in the law or not doesn't change the law.

One of the larger insulation manufacturers will give you insulation details or a starting place at least. Aeroboard is a cheap, low performance EPS insulation made by kingspan for example

from the limited info provided it would be Best to consider creating and ventilating a cavity between the insulation and the mass concrete.
To avoid condensation, leading to rot & mould.
