    Hi.

Ive just seen a car in the North in Tyrone from a garage im interested in. The give 6 months platinum cover. I didn't think RAC is available in the ROI but the garage said they do.

Does anyone have any knowledge on RAC. From reading I though they only offer holiday cover to the ROI

RAC is here alright. Their call centre is in the UK and they farm it out to local breakdown companies. Some policies give replacement car for up to 48hrs or a taxi home. Aviva use them :)

As sully says, they operate here.

The AA, also subcontract to local garages/tow companies outside of the cities.
