    I have noticed some accounts have their own pics as an avatar ?
    How can I do this ?

    I think you have to be a paid subscriber to do this.

    You do indeed have to subscribe for this feature. You can sign up for a month for €5, which gives you the option of adding a custom avatar, changing your name (by request in the Name Changes forum) and a sub-only chat forum.

    To expand on this slightly, you can sub for the minimum one month, get a custom avatar changed (or a name change), and it remains when the sub expires.
