Is it OK for a self-employed person to use an accountant from the UK?

    Anyone know if can use an accountant from the UK or whether it is mandatory that the accounts for my one-man business are tallied up by a local accountant?

    There's no mandatory obligation on you to even have an accountant to do your accounts, you could do them yourself if you seen fit to.
