Heating and insulation upgrade problems

    Hello everyone
I decided to go with a company for heating and insulation works. They provided me with a quote for a new boiler, heating controls and attic insulation. We agreed a date for these works to be carried out. I paid a deposit for heating & insulation work and filled out SEAI grant forms. They have completed the heating upgrade but have not done the insulation work. Their core business is heating and they contract out the insulation to a third party. I have had the insulation job booked and cancelled at the last minute three times now and I think the company has run out of excuses at this stage. So, I'm wondering if anyone might have and advice on how to proceed?

If you have only paid a deposit then you have some leverage against the heating company. They'll be coming to you for their money soon so at that point you can tell them you'll only pay in full once all the work is done. That should get the insulation sorted pretty quick.
