    Hi,

I need to remove 150GB of photos from my notebook to an external hard drive, in fact 2 (I want one as back up). I'm thinking 2x 500GB.
Any recommendations of what to buy and where?

I've had a few WD MyPassport drives over the years, USB3.0 and none failed me yet. Argos have them.

I have a seagate 500GB and a Toshiba 1TB for a cuple years and both work fine. There is very little difference in price between 500GB and 1TB these days

one hard drive and one cloud backup.

would that not make more sense?

Best practice is probably 3-2-1 backup

I have a Synology 2 drive NAS with 2x2TB drives mirrored
Also have my pics backing up to Onedrive 1TB storage

Kinda expensive but IMO its well worth it
    The Synology boxes are awesome
