Moving from iPhone 6 - Galaxy S7 Edge or S8?

After about 10 years with iPhones I'm going to move to Android. I'd get the Galaxy S8 but the location of the fingerprint reader is ridiculous and I think it would really bother me as I've become so used to it on my iPhone 6. I do have big enough hands though. The HTC U11 would be the iPhone of the android world. Extremely solid all-rounder.

If your choice is between the S7 edge and the S8, and you're planning on keeping your device for a length of time, then I'd go for the S8. It will be supported with software updates for a year after the S7, and from what I've heard, the fingerprint scanner location isn't too bad when you get used to it.
