A relative is buying a new car and being offered the above for a couple of hundred euro extra as part of the deal.

I know the likely hood is that it's not worth what the dealer is trying to charge, but as an alternative and DIY option, can anyone point in the direction of some other products that may suit them to use that will do the same trick Eg upholstery / glass / body (white paint) sealer?

If you wanted to buy something that what the AG Life Shine should (in theory) do, then you are looking at a ceramic coating - and its probably best to have a professional apply this - and it would cost the same as what the dealer is offering.

But if they wanted to give it a go themselves on the
Upholstery - CarPro Fabric Coat, Gtechniq I1
Glass - CarPro Flyby30 or Flyby Forte, Gtechniq G1 (I think)

There are several options that would be easier to work with, and not needing such critical prep, and not so much issue if it were dont slightly wrong....
Paintwork - spray on type sealants give similar characteristics but not the durability...but are easy to top up. CarPro HydrO2 or Reload, KKD SiCoat or PurityX, Gtechniq (cant think of their extact C2V3, I think)
Upholstery - Aerospace Fabric Coat, Chemical Guys Fabric Guard
Glass - some of the above work on glass, or the like of RainX, etc

Thanks curran, on the exterior are there any longer term sealants as an option as opposed to a quick spray on? Eg will last them 6 months+? Also with a sealant and a white car should you still apply a wax over it or stick with just the sealant
