Hi all, looking to buy a caravan, but the one I'm considering at the moment is not being sold with the usual accessories, and buying them at the Halfords etc would cost a bomb!

Would need aquaroll, wastemaster, pump, leisure battery, security locks, step, etc... All the essential stuff basically

Anybody know where to get best value on these items? Do Aldi/Lidl ever do these kind of items on their camping/motoring weeks?

I have seen aquaroll type water tanks in aldi in the past, haven't seen them this year though as I have been keeping an eye out for them. The rest, you could try https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/ I have bought a good few spares etc from them over the past few years. Though bear in mind that postage can really add up on their site.

I believe the halfords leisure batteries are good, there was one in my caravan when I bought it and it works fine. It's a smaller 70Ah one and is good for running the motor mover for a good stretch (enough that it hasn't run out of juice yet!)

Might be worth drawing up a list of what you need and seeing if charles or omeara camping will give you a good price for the lot?

If you are interested in a double step I have a spare one that I don't use - https://www.thecaravanshop.co.uk/steps/double-steps/maypole-caravan-step-double-steel-silver-/prod_548.html Looks a bit like this one. PM me if you are interested.

We use one of these when we are travelling - https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/caravan-accessories/external-caravan-fittings/steps/fiamma-step-original. And when we are parked on our summer site i have a step i made from decking and a proper mat.

Many thanks for the advice and links oinkely. No need for step quite yet, as sale fell through unfortunately! The caravan search continues...

I love traveling and I am interesting in caravan house. It is beautiful, modern and convenient. With a caravan house, I can drive it to everywhere and also live it it. I really like to have a new one.
