It lurks in my kitchen, in a cupboard in a tea pot, down its sprout, the lid tightly fitted and contains the darkness a moment while waiting for tea to brew we stare out windows overlooking growing weeds this is the life , like a tree hollow and slowly dying its roots no longer strong and shredding into an abyss.
