    I've searched on here and read what I could find but I'm looking for any updates from anyone who's said they fitted either of the above.

    I know the salt softeners are best but just looking for user info on the others.
    One concern is that I know the salt ones will eventually remove deposits in the whole system whereas I think the others will only work (?) with what's going through from day one.

    Would appreciate any replies!
