Hi guys, when I click reply to a PM and can write text in the bottom input window it doesn't seem to work properly.
I am unsure If I should start typing at the top, before the "quoted" text or below it.
My messages either haven't been getting to the recipient, although they do receive a "quoted" version of the PM they sent me or the message end up back in my inbox with a "quoted" version of my email to the recipient.
The previous/other VBulletin styled forum replies where you could see where you should type and what was contained in the "quoted" reply was quite useful but boards doesn't seem to have that functionality and it's not very user friendly.
Both Internet Explorer and Chrome are like this.

    Hi there,

Can I ask which version (Legacy or Responsive) of the site you are using? We're looking into the issue of private messages deleting text at the moment, so any added detail you can give will be very handy. If you're having issues with text being deleted, for the time being it would be better to start a new message from scratch. Do you have Sent PMs saved? And do they send without text or is it the responses that are coming back blanked?

Whether you type before or after the message that you're responding to is a matter of personal preference.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
