I'm one of the organisers of this. (Also set up this very forum back in the day)

Should be a good day. It's a nice big room and will be a good change of pace to our usual meet ups.

Are there events planned or do you just show up and join games on an ad hoc basis?

Keeping it mostly fairly casual. Will have a large selection of games there on the day that you can choose from. There'll also be a bring and buy table if you want to offload any old games.

There'll also be a raffle and there's a possibility of a Splendor tournament.

But mostly it's just a chance to play lots of games until late in a nice room. Normally we meet up in the Alfie Byrne's pub which can get less than ideal it there are sports being shown on the TVs.
