I've been asked to change the gearbox in a 2005 Corolla 1.4 D4D.
I've not done one of these before so would welcome any advice /tips from someone who has.
Does the subframe have to come down for example and are there are 'pitfalls' to watch out for ; or any website that gives a write up for the job.
I will have the car on a 4 post ramp - or would a 2 post be better for access etc ?
    Thanks in advance.
