5.10 Tony Martin has won this race for the past 2 years and am not surprised to see money already coming for Golden Spear but at more generous odds I'll try Top Othe Ra ew who is a C&D winner and won lto.

6.15 On Fiddler's Green won this race last year but although 11lbs higher is very progressive and can repeat last year's success. He would have been my selection for the plate had he got in.

6.45 I can't ignore Whiskey Sour having done me a lovely turn on Monday and although this is down in trip he is still very well handicapped and Swamp Fox more than franked the form yesterday. Also shortening in the market

Away from Galway 2 others that I've had a nibble on are

Avidity 3.10 Bangor 12/1 ew who won a class 4 over C&D back in May last year off 132 and is in here off 117 and drops back down to class 4 again having contested class 3 since that win.
Aristocracy 4.50 Bangor 9/2 who has been running on the flat since joining Fergal O Brien's yard but reverts to hurdles off a 10 lower mark than when last seen over the sticks so could be very well handicapped

    Good luck with your bets

Not Galway, but interest in One Word More at 28s in the 3.00 at Goodwood. 7th last year with no sort of run and looked full of it when finally finding room too late. Soft ground won't inconvenience

Think you were right the first time. Golden Spear for me at 4/1, looks chucked in.

5.10 Camlann (2nd on the flat yesterday) runs off 128. Beaten into 3rd by Swamp Fox who was narowly denied off 148 in the big one yesterday.

5.45 Krispen. Dukes horse is far too short.

6.15 On Fiddlers Green. Didnt get into the plate which was target 1.

6.50 On the Road Again Fast improving 4 year old. Nice Draw.

7.25 Muniza. Welds not in form, but this ran pretty well on its debut.

7.55 Empress Lyla Not beaten far by gambled on Dinty Inty 5 days ago over c&d. Draw not much better but I'd take a chance.

8.25 Benkei Looks a Harry Rogers plot. Money has come for it too. Danger might be Vigil who is 16/1!

For the love of God. Will someone please stop the bleeding.

A little mellow dramatic but still.

I think I'll leave Galway alone in future.
