It's all the missus wants so I don't have a choice. Has to be 6 Plus and Pink, but gold might do in a pinch. Wondering if I could maybe get a refurbished one or something. Would consider used but it would have to be immaculate.

    Any suggestions?

I assume you mean the Rose Gold 6 Plus?

I would try Adverts.ie for a second hand one.

If I remember correctly there is no iPhone 6/6+ Rose Gold. The Rose Gold option was launched for the 6S/6S+ phones.

Thanks, yes it seems you are correct. Looking on ebay there are quite a few: https://www.ebay.ie/sch/i.html?_udlo=300&_mPrRngCbx=1&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=iphone%206s%20plus%20rose%20gold&LH_PrefLoc=5&_dcat=9355&Colour=Pink&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684

They are all refurbished so Problem is trying to get one in good condition with box etc

Am I mad to get a 16gb, will you just run out of storage fast? I now wit Android you do but I have not had an iphone in years.

There's a good few mobile phone (brick and mortar) shops selling them on Adverts, new and used. You might find one there. Hope that helps.

16gb is criminal these days. The 6S does live photos (don't knock it, it's actually a genuinely great feature) and 4K video (you do have to turn it on though, but still...). Apple does do Photos in the cloud well, however optimises storage locally on the phone I feel like it's clumsy at freeing up space and lacks controls on it.

App updates are huge these days too, Facebook is currently 652Mb on my phone, Instagram is 528Mb, WhatsApp 528Mb, Snapchat 380Mb. that's close enough to 2Gb on the most popular apps people use. The 16Gb phone, when you take the OS portion into account is only 12Gb. Install these apps above which I'm sure you'll be doing and you'll be down to 10Gb by the time the phone gets it's second charge.

That's not including the 37Gb of photos I have, the 7Gb of Music and 3Gb of Messages that are on my phone. Get at least a 64Gb phone, I bought a 64Gb iPhone 6 for my partner the same time her sisters all got 16Gb phones. Nearly every 3 weeks I'm called by one of them to help back up and delete stuff on their phones whereas I've never once had to do it for my partner's phone.

Also if you go down the route of eBay ensure you can meet up with the seller, ensure that the phone isn't iCloud locked etc. and then it's pretty much down to your judgement whether or not the character is dodgy as they could potentially black list the phone at the carrier (say they've lost it or stolen, claim off insurance) and you're left with an expensive aluminium paper-weight. If you're like me I wouldn't risk it personally and just buy one off apple.com/ie.

CG has it covered. 32GB as an absolute minimum (64GB preferred) and even at that you will need to 'optimize photos' and that's skectchy at the best of times.

Adverts.ie - plenty of Dublin sellers (good feedback is a must) with reasonably priced, sealed & unlocked units for sale.
