    I was going through online links for ordering a camera..! I found this link

    Looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ2500 and the price is excellent .

    Has anyone ever purchased from them and am I going to be hit with a huge import bill on arrival ?

    According to their helpline "We cover the import costs so you will not be charged anything on top of your order value."

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

    Strange, their T&Cs say that you are liable.
    In respect of any Order, certain taxes may be levied by the destination country to which Your MD Products will be delivered. You will be the importer of record for the purpose of customs and border processing. As the importer of the MD Products, you agree that you are liable to pay such taxes with respect to the MD Products to the relevant authority in addition to Your payment to us under the General Terms and Conditions above. It is Your responsibility to determine whether any such taxes apply in Your destination country for delivery or the country from which the MD Products are shipped. You agree that Milkyway is not liable to you with respect to any loss, damage, cost, expense or injury you incur as a result Your obligation to pay taxes in a particular jurisdiction.

    Its strange alright , reading the reviews on Trustpilot I think I'll be giving them a miss , I knew it was too good to be true ..

    Try eglobal central. Bought a 600 tamron off them a while ago without issue.

    AVOID AVOID AVOID My dad bought a camera off them and never got anything just a choose a different product out of stock bulsh*t. They look pretty professional but are a shower of w%%kers not an Irish or English company. I cancelled my parents credit card and logged a no goods received claim with Ulster bank.

    I had a decent experience with eglobal central recently. Their tracking was very specific, which I was weary of, but all arrived on time. Packaging was Japanese and open, but goods were fine and very cost effective.
