Spike tv to be renamed in 2018 to paramount

    Paramount uk will launch in Jan 2018
    Spike tv will change its name to paramount.

    Yes. Spike will rename to Paramount in the US.

    As for UK & Irish viewers like us though; we will get both Paramount & Spike as separate channels.

    That seems to indicate it's the uk spike that will become the uk paramount in Jan 2018
