Possible injury-how to proceed

The 2 dogs were playing outside this morning, I heard an ongoing wimper, normally if there's a problem there's a cry from one of them and they both run into their beds but this time bren was on the patio and Lucy was behind the oil tank, quivering.
I got her inside and there was a definite but not bad limp. She let me check her over, and there didn't appear to be in any pain, she was very sheepish and submissive.
She got out of bed for an apple but was happy to get back into bed, the limp was very mild.
She asleep now, she has full range of movement, she wasn't overly licking any part of her paw or leg.
Whatever happened, I'm not sure but bren was giving her a good sniff afterwards and she seemed ok (as I type she's hoped into his bed with him)
What should I be looking out for to make sure it was only a knock, she is quite a fragile dog compared to bren.

I'd rest her and keep an eye on her - so no playing/running/jumping and short on lead walk only.

    How is she today?

Not a bother on her now, wrecking Brendan's head all day so back to normal.

I'm used to there being a little yelp out of one of them when the other takes playing a bit to far but this time, the whine was different with a pronounced limp so it had me concerned. But she's running, jumping ok and is back to not being submissive.

They'd wreck your head wouldnt they!!
My guy has had his knee replaced - his hip is going bad now - I nearly had a heart attack last week when my young niece started throwing sticks for him (his favourite thing in the world, but banned now alas)

    They are absolute melts,
Hope yours are ok, it was difficult for the short time, once she had her confidence back, getting her to take it easy. Bren is doing his best to sleep and all she's doing throwing a kong in his face trying to get a reaction.
