This is a video of a two bed duplex apartment in Verdemont Complex in Blanchardstown, Dublin. It was built in 2000/01 there was only one air vent in the apartment and and a extractor fan in the main bathroom. There were NO air vents in the kitchen and in the two bedrooms plus the en-suite. There was a family of 6 living in the apartment but have just moved out. I spotted at least 16 other apartments on the complex that were also missing air vents. https://www.facebook.com/tony.rochford/videos/1371390272944697/ Back in 2002 a young couple had died in a fire in the complex and the jury recommended that all the air vents on the complex should be checked but Fingal County Council decided not to carry out any inspections.
