Anyone any idea how long it takes for Apple to either repair or replace a iphone 6s under warranty? I sent mine away during the week, I've heard it can take up to 14 working days.

5/6 working days from the day you send it back normally.

Not much help this time, but if you need to get another replacement under warranty, try calling into a CompuB store. They can arrange a replacement in about 48 hours.

Don't CompuB just send it off the Apple taking even longer?

In my experience, they have the authority to check out the handset in store, and if they deem that a replacement is the way to go, rather than a repair, they can order it there and then. Happened to me when the FaceTime camera was misaligned. Had a replacement in just under 48 hours. Obviously every case is different, but I'd go back there if anything else happens. There's a chance they might even be able to repair it without sending it to Apple. (BTW, I'm not working for CompuB or anything, this is not an ad for them! Just sharing my experience with them and the relatively fast turnaround in my case).

Bringing it back to the network shop where you bought it would definitely add time, as they go through procedures before sending it off and after they get it back from Apple.

There are no iPhone authorised repairers in this country!

This means that any warranty on an iPhone is voided if it gets opened here.

    CompuB are authorised iPad repairers.

Sure about that? CompuB in Galway were excellent when I had trouble with my iPhone. Maybe they were iPad-only in the past, but have they gotten the go ahead for iPhone stuff too? They looked after a replacement and a repair on two separate issues for me, both relating to iPhone, not iPad. That was in February/March 2016.

Might not be worth it in every single case, but there's also the option of the Apple Store in Belfast if you're after a speedy service.

Quite sure. The only iOS authorised repairers in Ireland are for iPod and iPad.

There are no official iPhone repairers here.

Mactivate are an Apple Authorized iPhone Repairs

    Have used them a lot

Look at their website, and Apple's.

They are an authorised repair Centre for Apple Mac, iPod and iPads. NOT iPhone.

Their website states "warranty repairs on Mac, iPod and iPad" and merely "repairs on iPhone"

If they open an iPhone it's warranty is voided.
