Paypal / Digital Goods

    Hello,

My question revolves around selling digital goods in Ireland to people in Ireland & abroad - I occasionally sell digital art work and was told by a friend that there's a limit of 8000 Euro before you have to pay additional tax?

Paypal already takes some of the money through their own tax (it's around 2-5 % per sale), but I couldn't find where my friend got that 8K figure.

I made around 1000 euro in 2016 altogether - does a limit on intangible/digital goods before you pay tax even exist?

    Thanks
