Atm Offaly should not be in the Liam McCarthy

They would be perfect for this new comp

Reckon all the teams that come up will be relegated straight away. There will be uproar if a big name is relegated. Imagine Limerick or Wexford playing in the qualifier group

If they get relegated then they deserve to be there. They'll be straight back up if they're good enough

Its a vague article but it looks to me to propose altering the status quo and continuing with KO games.

That would be a farcical proposal as everyone wants more games, teams who get to the semis or quarters deserve at least 4/5 games... the fans and players.

If Galway win the semi final it'll be three games in three months... absolute joke of a set up for a sport that 1000s want to attend and watch.

Also the fact a team can lose a game, then beat a semi finalist will always leave a sour taste.

At least with the original proposal all teams play an equal amount of games... no worrying about 5 week breaks or not knowing your weaknesses until its too late in a semi.

Its an addition to the existing proposal which is two 5 team conferences(Munster and Leinster/Galway) where they all play each other home and away. All teams get 8 games minimum with 2nd/3rd going to QF and 1st into the semi's
