    As the title suggests.

    My old reliable (yeah right) Almera has broken down yet again, it's been to the garage 4 times in the last 2 months, spent well over a grand on repairs and no end in sight so I've decided to cut my losses, it owes me nothing at this stage anyways.

    Looking for a new motor but due to other issues and me being a tight bastard, I'd ideally be looking to spend so more than 3-4K.

    Nothing fancy, it only needs to get me to and from work (15 miles each way). Something around 1.4-1.6, 4 seater, mondeo/focus/jetta/etc.

    Living in the limerick area, any suggestions welcome.
