Should you replace both shock absorbers if one leaks?
I'm being quoted 180 to replace the rear shock absorber...advised may need the other one ..when they see how replacing one looks ..at another 180!
Is this a DIY job? If not ....is that expensive? Would you change one or both ...thks

If it were me I'd change both. Better off keep the balance. The oil in the struts oxidises with all of the compressions they go through. I could get the rear pair for €110.

DIY depends on you. You definitely need spring compressors.
