iOS devices won't connect to Eir F2000's 2.4 Ghz wifi?

None of my iOS devices (2 ipads & an iphone SE) will connect to an Eir F2000 router's 2.4 Ghz wifi network. Keep getting 'incorrect password' on them despite entering it correctly. Solutions?

    iOS version is 10.3.3.

All devices fine with the 5 Ghz network.

I bet it's set to channel 12 or 13. Login and take it off auto and set it to a lower channel. You can get Wi-Fi analyser apps that show you what channels are in use nearby, pick one well away from other strong signals.

Shouldnt be, if they're out of FCC bands they'd disappear not fail authentication.

First step is to just change the key and see if that resolves it.

@The high horse brigade: thanks. No luck. Tried all the channels manually.

@ED E: by 'key' you mean the password? I changed it. Same result. Can login into the 5 Ghz network, but not 2.4 Ghz. 'Incorrect password' message on iOS device again.

Friend was here last night. His android phone connected to the 2.4 GHz network. An iOS issue maybe?

You havent accidentally changed the auth method from WPA2-PSK to something else?

Also ensure there's no special characters in the SSID(name).

Auth method is set to WPA-PSK+WPA2-PSK. (haven't changed it).

    SSID is also unchanged.
