    Hey all,
Would be grateful for any advice you might be able to give.

I am 22 years old, and wondering whether anybody knows if I would be entitled to JSB?

I worked in Dublin for a year from October 2014 to October 2015. I went home to live with my parents and started work again in October 2016 until April 2017. I had to leave work due to my parents moving. I am now wondering if it would be possible for my to claim Job Seeker's Benefit, or if I must apply for JBA?

    Thanks for your advice.

You need 104 prsi contributions since you first started work to claim JSB so I don't think you will qualify for it given you only have around 18 months of contributions. The JSB application form is the same one as the JSA one anyway so if you don't qualify for JSB they start doing the means test stuff for JSA.
