Do I need to use rebar for wood shed foundation?

    Hi folks,

    I am building a wood shed, which is 1.7 m by 2m and 2.2 m high.

There is the wall of the house and a block wall on two sides and I'll be adding the other two walls. There will be walkway on the top of it to get to the roof.

For the foundations, I am thinking of pouring a concrete floor on top of maybe 6 inches of rubble.

Would this do the job? Or would I need to use rebar?

Personally I doubt you need the rebar but I always throw some in to be sure to be sure. It really depends on the depth of concrete. If you are using as little as possible say 4 inches then I'd definitely use a sheet of mesh. With 6 inches or more I doubt you need it.
