Went to the farm walk on Brian Nicholsons farm in Kilkenny yesterday. He really is an excellent grass manager, farm was in super shape. About 150 people there. Anyone else here at it?

Boss woman was at it. She thought grass management was very good. She thought not feeding meal to lambs until there 39kg was a bit mad. We put our figures next to his and we're going fairly well. His beating us with the percentage if lambs sold off the ewe to the ram

Met her there, good to see her back on the sheep circuit
We've 6 pets here and it's unreal the meal they're eating so adlib has to be uneconomic and feeding 1lb day to hundreds of lambs is unpractical unless through those advantage feeders so adlib after 38kgs is a good compromise...gives them a great KO
Wouldn't even consider meal feeding here tiil at least September
