Tara Hill area in Rathfarnham - Safe?

Anyone know if Tara Hill area in Rathfarnham is safe? We're thinking of moving there and heard it's a bit dodgy, or at least used to be...

General comment only, you tend to find there is always a remaining element. Where I live (previously a bit of a reputation) you could not ask for nicer people but there is the estate bully still about with ingrained family connections that just feels he needs to assert himself with the odd anti-social idiocy mainly his dog barking all through the night. Frankly if you keep your head down and are willing to put up with the odd annoyance there's not many places in Dublin you can't live. I can't speak to that area specifically but this general comment will give you a bump so it's a win/win :pac:

You could do a lot worse. A bit more working class than the estates around it but very quiet at night etc. Never see scrotes hanging about.
